With the Gryphon 4500-HC Datalogic has developed a corded premium handheld scanner for hospitals, laboratories, nursing homes, pharmacies and other healthcare institutions. You will immediately take note of its design, with stylish and elegant contours, combined with excellent ergonomics. The anti-microbial-coated housing easily withstands regular disinfections, even when using harsh cleansers. The scanner is available with two different interfaces: a pure USB connection or a multi-interface with USB, RS232 and keyboard wedge.
Another very noticeable characteristic of the Gryphon 4500-HC is its white lighting, which not only protects the users’ eyes, but also is optimally suited for capturing color barcodes. Four light points and a crosshair in the scanning field provide clearly visible targeting assistance. It is also highly tolerant of movement, resulting in a scanner which quickly captures both 1D and 2D barcodes, even under unfavorable conditions (optionally also Digimarc barcodes). With its intuitive, simple handling the Gryphon 4500-HC is a real asset, particularly during the hectic day-to-day in healthcare.
